Overview:

We are seeking dedicated male and female individuals to join our team as a Correctional Officer. As a Correctional Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within our correctional facility. This position requires a high level of professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain security and control within the correctional facility

- Conduct regular patrols and inspections to ensure the safety of staff and inmates

- Monitor inmate activities and respond to any signs of disturbance or rule violations

- Conduct searches of inmates, cells, and common areas for contraband

- Enforce facility rules and regulations

- Respond to emergencies, including fights, medical incidents, and fires

- Prepare detailed reports on incidents and daily activities

- Assist in the transportation of inmates as needed

- Control room operation

- Controlling all inmate movement

- Booking & releasing inmates

Skills:

- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations with inmates

- First aid and CPR certification (training provided by facility)

- Excellent report writing skills to accurately document incidents
